The OC200 has two Gigabit Ethernet ports and is powered by 802.3af/at PoE or Micro USB, so it can sit on a PoE switch with no separate adapter. It manages all your TP-Link Omada devices from one dashboard: WiFi names and passwords on every access point, seamless roaming, guest portals, VLANs and monitoring. Changes are made once and pushed to every device, and you can check the network remotely through the Omada app or cloud.
Do I need the OC200 if I have only one access point?
No. A single Omada access point can be set up on its own through the Omada app or web page. The OC200 is useful once you have several access points, or Omada routers and switches, and want them managed together and reachable from outside the office.
How is the OC200 powered?
By 802.3af/at PoE from a PoE switch, or by Micro USB (5V, at least 1A). It has two Gigabit Ethernet ports and one USB 2.0 port.
