Frequently asked questions

Should I buy a laser printer or an ink tank printer?

A laser printer if you print mostly black text; an ink tank printer if you need colour. Laser toner does not dry out when the printer sits unused, and pages come out fast. Ink tank printers like the Canon PIXMA G-series or Brother DCP-T430W print colour cheaply from refill bottles, but they should be used every week or two so the print head does not dry out.

Which printers can also scan and copy?

All-in-one models: the Canon PIXMA G2010, G3010 and G4780, Brother DCP-T430W and MFC-T4500DW, Deli D511W, M1820W and M3100ADNW, Canon imageCLASS MF3010, and the Kyocera MA2000w, ECOSYS MA4000x, M4125idn and TASKalfa 2020. Models with an automatic document feeder (ADF), such as the Canon PIXMA G4780 and Deli M3100ADNW, copy multi-page documents without feeding each sheet by hand.

Which printers print on A3 paper?

The Brother MFC-T4500DW (colour ink tank, borderless A3) and, for black and white, the Kyocera ECOSYS M4125idn and TASKalfa 2020. The other printers on this page take A4 and smaller paper.

Can I print from my phone?

Yes, with a WiFi model. The Canon PIXMA G3010 and G4780, Brother DCP-T430W, Deli D511W, M1820W and P1820W, and Kyocera MA2000w and PA2000w all have WiFi, so you can print from a phone through the maker's app. USB-only models such as the Canon PIXMA G2010, imageCLASS LBP6030 and Brother HL-1110 print from a computer.

Do you sell ink, toner and drum units too?

Yes. We keep genuine Canon and Deli ink bottles, compatible toner cartridges, refill toner powder and drum units. Each product page lists the printers it fits, so check your printer model or cartridge code before you order.
