PoE Switch

A network switch that also powers the devices plugged into it. IP cameras, access points and IP phones that support PoE get power and data on one cable, so you need no socket or adapter at each camera.

Up to 8, one per PoE port, as long as their total power stays within the budget: 120W on the Jovision JVS-S10-8P-120W and 80W on the HRUI HR903-AF-82Y-80. Each port gives up to 30W (802.3at). The 2 uplink ports connect to your NVR, router or another switch.

Normally up to 100 m. Both switches have an Extend mode that carries power and data up to 250 m, at 10Mbps, which is enough for most camera streams on long runs in a compound or factory.

It isolates the PoE ports from each other so they can only talk to the uplink ports. On a CCTV network this stops camera traffic flooding other ports and keeps cameras separated. Both the Jovision and HRUI switches have this VLAN mode.
