Monitor arms in Nepal from Fantech: the ProMount MBS1 single arm and the MBD1 dual arm for two screens. Both hold monitors from 13 to 32 inches with a 75 × 75 or 100 × 100 mm VESA mount, up to 9 kg per arm, on a gas spring you move with one hand: up and down, tilt, swivel and rotate to portrait.
An arm lifts the screen to eye level, frees the desk under it and routes the cables inside the arm. It fixes to a desk 15 to 80 mm thick with a clamp or through a grommet hole. Will a monitor arm fit my monitor?
Check the back of the monitor for four screw holes 75 or 100 mm apart (VESA 75 × 75 or 100 × 100). If they are there, and the screen is 13 to 32 inches and under 9 kg, the Fantech arms fit.
Monitor arm or monitor stand: what is the difference?
A stand sits on the desk and usually only tilts. An arm clamps to the desk edge, frees the space under the screen, and moves the screen up, down, forward, sideways and into portrait.
Single or dual monitor arm?
The MBS1 holds one screen. The MBD1 holds two side by side on one desk clamp, each on its own arm, for coding, trading, editing or office work on two screens.
How is a monitor arm fixed to the desk?
With a C-clamp on the desk edge, or with a grommet mount through a hole in the desk. The desk top should be 15 to 80 mm thick.
