Vartex VT175 vs VT186: interactive flat panel specifications

What both Vartex boards have

• Infrared touch with a 2.5 mm writing height: write with the two pens in the box or with a finger.

• An anti-glare, zero-bonded screen and a light sensor that sets the brightness for the room.

• Wi-Fi (2.4 and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0 and wireless screen sharing, so a teacher can show a phone or laptop screen without a cable.

• 3 HDMI inputs (one on the front), a front USB-C port, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, two touch USB ports, LAN and RS232.

• An OPS slot for an optional built-in Windows PC (not included).

• In the box: remote, power cable, 2 touch pens, wall mount and 2 antennas.

Smart board for schools in Nepal: which Vartex size for which room?

• 75 inch (VT175): most school classrooms, college lecture rooms, office meeting rooms and boardrooms. At 50 kg it is also the easier board to mount on a wall.

• 86 inch (VT186): large classrooms, training centres, government training halls and seminar rooms where people sit further back. It weighs 63 kg, so the wall must be strong enough.

Need a smaller 65-inch board? Vartex has no 65-inch model with us; see the Dahua smart board price in Nepal guide for the 65-inch Dahua LPH65, or our full smart board price list for MAXHUB boards in 65, 75 and 86 inch.

What to check before buying a smart board

• OPS PC or laptop: the board runs Android apps on its own. For Windows software, add an OPS PC in the slot (bought separately), or connect a laptop or desktop with an HDMI cable plus the touch USB cable. Touch goes up to 40 points in OPS mode.

• Wall mount or stand: a wall mount comes in the box. A brick or concrete wall is best. If the wall is a light partition, or the board has to move between rooms, you need a mobile floor stand instead.

• Power and network: plan a power socket behind the board, and a LAN cable or Wi-Fi for updates, apps and screen sharing.

• Online classes and meetings: the camera and 8 microphones are built in, so you do not need a separate webcam for video calls.

Both Vartex boards come with a 1-year brand warranty. If you have a problem with your board, call or WhatsApp us on +977 9867174242 and we will help you with the warranty claim.
